Mozilla Firefox browser vulnerable to session stealing bug.

By Wes Henry

Mozilla Firefox is vulnerable to a bug which could allow stealing of session information such as session history, and session cookies when running any of more than 600 add-ons that use the flat packaging style.

Mozilla has elevated this bug to a status of “high”.

A patch which fixes this bug should be included in Firefox 2.0.0.12 which is expected to be released on Feb. 5th, 2008.
